I’ve been a wildlife and landscape artist for 40+ years, and an art teacher, comic strip artist, magazine illustrator, and photographer for less. I created this website in 2011 to showcase my favorite work and to talk about art.
Thank you for visiting.
Feel free to browse my writing sections too.
Love your artwork, great blog! Looking forward to wondering through it and seeing/reading more!
Thank you and ditto on your blog. I just returned from it and loved the art and science. Good luck on the publication of your book. I like the covers your friend did, very impressive, and I’m looking forward to reading it.
Just happened to run into your blog. You have got a beautiful space running here. Loved some of your write-ups. Its very subtle. I guess I will be hanging around here a lot. 🙂 Great work
I’m glad you found my blog and enjoyed your visit, Prasad. In fact, I’m always excited to know that someone wants to stick around and see and read more of what I post. A friend calls it, “The warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that someone appreciates what we do.” Or, as you rightly call it at your blog: the footprints we leave behind. 🙂
I love your art. Solid work. I have all your books on my tablet now. Even though your Vree Erikson stories are YA 13+, I find them perfect for those of us at a higher age level. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for those kind words. I hope others are getting as much enjoyment out of my books as you are.
Steven, the link to your post about your birthday is not coming up, there is an error somewhere. When I clicked read more it came page not available.

I love art, and it runs in my family. I draw for fun, and therapy. My sister died, and I had begun painting with her. I continued. It was therapy.
I have a similar situation. My brother died a few years ago. He was my best friend. I used to paint wildlife pictures for him; he was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. I was too. God spoke loudest there. Being close to nature and making art has always been therapeutic.
Thank you for liking my blog.
Thank you for responding. I believe God speaks when I paint, because I am quiet. I have to study the flour to paint it.
